The 19th Trinity International Hip Hop Festival 2025 will be tackling the theme: "Hip Hop Saved My Life". By addressing questions about the healing power of Hip Hop, we hope to shed significant light on how the culture of Hip Hop can be used as a tool for self and collective empowerment.

HIP HOP LIVES functions as an online, open access digital repository and resource guide dedicated to the annual Trinity International Hip Hop Festival. Founded in the spring of 2006, "The Fest" was created to combat the disunity, segregation, and violence of Hartford, Connecticut, and Trinity College. Using the historically education-oriented and politically revolutionary medium – Hip Hop – and focusing on its global potency and proliferation, the Trinity International Hip Hop Festival works to unify Trinity College, the city of Hartford, and the Globe, bringing together people to celebrate different cultures through Hip Hop music, dance, visual arts, and academics.
